The CAT Rental Store now has a fleet of more than 2,500 items not including attachments and accessories valued at more than $110 million. This fleet requires a focused management effort to ensure it delivers an adequate return thereby encouraging further growth. The Asset Coordinator is responsible for driving improved fleet performance along with enabling much of the growth strategy
Specific Goals include:
• Ensuring that assets are acquired and introduced to the fleet effectively.
• Constantly improving return on investment through monitoring and measurement of fleet performance.
• Maximised resale value of assets as they are sold out of the fleet.
• Achievement of fleet KPI’s through effective asset management. (eg Availability, Yield, Utilisation etc)
This Clayton based role will report to the Rental Asset Manager and suit a recently graduated engineer or person suitably experienced in a fleet management environment looking to further develop their skills and career.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Very Good Negotiating skills
• Sound mechanical knowledge.
• Flexibility and initiative.
• Willingness to get things done in support of a customer service environment
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office Skills
